• seeking opinions, advice, help on ai project
I plan to work on a real time strategy game. I'm going to create an ai attached to the game, and probably give it a basic understanding of the game, learning ability, and an interface to me while it learns the game through a monitored mass trial/error system. After it has gained a sufficient game understanding(it will play the game 24/7 on my computer, with multiple copies out at once if possible) I will attempt ot teach it the workings of the real world. THere are some fps games out there which are much easier to work with, but I dont want this to be a single character ai, but a controller of a larger force. The Command&Conquer series of games is my intended use, only because I'm familiar with those, but if they turn out to be hard to work with I'm open to change. Since no source code is avaliable I'm using an intermediate dll, but don't really know how to do one. I'm new to this and would like to hear your opinions and advice on where to start. Also would anyone like help me with this project?
