Playground for artificial lifeforms

• Playground for artificial lifeforms

Hallo!

I think that a big problem of artificial lifeforms is, that they have no environment in which they can move and interact with it! So, are there any standards or projects? If not (and i don't think so) is there anybody interested to start up building such a virtual world? if you don't understand what I mean, here's a link from the AI-Depot http://ai-depot.com/Essay/Robocode.html - IBM made a playground for little tanks. each tank tries to kill the other tanks - the best ai wins. but i am thinking about a virtual world where the ai can "live" on. they can do what they want, they don't need to kill all other ai lifeforms. they're just there and interact with each other.

Bye Martin
