Description

GAUL (Genetic Algorithm Utility Library) is a library for development of code requiring genetic algorithms. Steady-state, generational and island model GAs are supported, using Darwinian, Lamarckian and Baldwinian evolutionary schemes. Standard mutation, crossover and selection operators are provided, while code hooks additionally allow custom operators.

Goals

To provide an efficient, flexible and feature complete framework for evolutionary computation.

Technical

Dependencies:	None required. S-Lang development package is recommended.
Languages:	Written in C and has an optional S-Lang interface.
Platforms:	Known to compile on several platforms, including Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, and Windows (with Cygwin).
